Developmental disabilities are a variety of conditions that may become apparent during childhood or before the age of 22 and cause mental and or physical limitations. These conditions will likely continue indefinitely and result in substantial functional limitations in three or more of the following areas: self care, receptive and expressive language, learning, mobility, self-direction, capacity for independent living, and/or economic self-sufficiency. These conditions can include autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, mental retardation, and other neurological and physical impairments.

Supported or Integrated Employment services provide initial and ongoing supports, services and training, usually provided at the job site, to help adults who are eligible for mental health services find and keep paid employment in the community.
Skill Building Assistance includes supports, services and training to help a person actively at school, work, volunteer or community settings, or to learn social skills they may need to support themselves or to get around in the community.
